PEACE IN IRELAND
Sir, —It is regrettable that Mr. G. W. Blair should be so misinformed in his letter relative to Ireland that he should conclude with a mis-statement of the facts of the case. One particular Church does not dictate or dominate the policy of the country. The Catholic Church is not concerned with political systems or policies of any country. All she is concerned with is the spiritual and moral edification of her people and the nations of the earth.
It is significant to note that the policy laid down for the Constitution of Ire! a fid by Mr. De Valera should be the only constitution which acknowledges the Supreme Being and is in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Is there any objection to a policy of any country beiyg based on the principles of the true faith? Makcus St. B. James.
