RUTH DRAPER'S VISIT

THE AUCKLAND SEASON Great interest is being taken in the forthcoming season of • Miss Ruth Draper, which will open at His Majesty's Theatre on Monday, August 15. Special box plan arrangements are advertised in this issue. Miss Draper will sail for America by the Mariposa on August 22. Of this famous artist, the London correspondent of the Sydney Morning Herald says:—"Huth Draper is one of the few real geniuses that the theatre has produced. Sargent's portrait of her shows you the real Ruth Draper, one hand holding the folds of a shawl which, through her genius, becomes something to- keep old age warm or to enfold youth.
