LIVE SHELL PRACTICE
POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY Tho live shell practice which was to havo been carried out from Narrow Neck yesterday afternoon and to-day had to be postponed, and it is now hoped that the practice will be held on Friday afternoon and on Monday between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. It was stated yesterday that, on account of tho weather, and the influenza and measles epidemic, the special reservists who wero to havo taken part in the firing were not sufficiently advanced in their training to carry out tho exercises. The shoot scheduled for Friday afternoon is to bo for 12-pounder giins, while on Monday 4-inch gun practice will bo carried out from the examination battery.
