THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE VALUES GENERALLY STEADY Comparatively steady conditions ruled ill the investment market on the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday. Turnover at the single call was satisfactory. Hank:; were about unchanged, with the exception of Commercials ol Australia. preference, which were marked down. Insurances again were strong, and Nationals moved up. Among breweries. Dominions continued to weaken, and dropped 3d. Broken Hill Proprietary made a. lorward move, but other Australian industrials were quiet. Milne and Choyee, debenture stock, and McKenzies both were lifted on sale, the latter gaining 2s.
