NEW ZEALAND WOMEN

RECEPTION IN LONDON PRESENTATION TO MEMBER [from our owx correspondent] LONDON, July 1(5 At the reception this afternoon of the Now Zealand Women's Association, held at the Hotel Rembrandt, a presentation was made to Miss M. Orbell on behalf of the members of the association. Miss Orbell, who is leaving for New Zealand by the Tamaroa very soon, has been a very active member of the committee since the association was started when Lady Wilford was in London officially S as the wife of the High Commissioner. Miss Orbell has been either honorary secretary or honorarv treasurer.

Mrs. Jordan presented the gift, which took the form of one of the new space-saving dressing cases that are so compact for anyone travelling. She made a graceful speech, to which Miss Orbell responded. Some 100 members of the association and their friends were present.
