The question ol finance was the main problem and the committee had been aiming at, getting £8D0(). It the local bodies assisted to the extent ol the present allocations there would be no need to go back to them later lor further funds, lie moved that the .scheme be approved and that the architectural and finance committees bo asked to go into the details. The opinion was expressed by Mr D. 1 lolderness that the scheme would receive whole-hearted support, and al' el other members had spoken in favour ol the plan Mr. A Hum's motion was carried.
