CAR STRUCK BY TRAIN

MAN AND WIFE INJURED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday When a motor-car was struck by a train at Melling shortly after 10 o'clock to-day, the occupants, Mr. J. J. Reich, aged about 77, who was driving, and Mrs. Reich were both taken to hospital at Lower Hutt suffering from severe shock and other injuries. Mr. Reich is well known in business circles, and is one of the oldest members of the Wellington Howling Club.
