Heavy rain fell all (he morning, making the ground -oil and muddy. This helped lo keep down the score against Keilding. The dazzling stickwork and control of the hall h.v the Indians had Keilding nonplussed. Only the sterling defence of the local goalkeeper, Whileman. prevented many more gnals. The Indians rapidly adapted themselves to the muddy ground, exploiting the push shot to full advantage in passing rushes agaiii"l which the orthodox methods of Keilding were fruitless. I'lay was fast throughout with drizzling rain keeping the ground slippery. There was a large attendance in spile of the rain. COLLF.G lATF.
