JUDGMENT FOR £391 Judgment lias boon given liy Mr. -Tustire J'';iir in tho Supremo Court in favour of the plaintiff company in a claim brought by the ('. ami A. Odlin Timber ami Hardware Company, Limited (.Mr. Dyson) against- Howard V. Young, cabinetmaker (Mr. North). The claim was based on a guarantee given by defendant to pay for material supplied by plaintiff for a contract at Owairaka. His Honor found that the words of the letter crpressed in elear terms nil obligation by defendant to assume personal liability for the material supplied by the plaintiff company and that defendant had not shown that he did not, understand what he was undertaking m this letter.
