METHODIST MISSION
ASSISTANCE FOR POOR Expenditure of £lO2 in helping those in need was reported at the quarterly meeting of' the Methodist Central Mission on Tuesday night. The superintendent, the f!ev. A. Everil Orr, presided. It was stated that there had been many applications for clothing and fuel during the recent cold wea t her. During the year 310 children had been at the health camp at Campbell's Hay, where it had been found necessary to plant 1000 trees for shelter. Satisfactory progress was reported on the new building scheme.
