DESCENDANT'S VISIT Directly descended from famous pioneers of New Zealand and Australia, being a great-grandson of Samuel Marsden and also of Gregory Blaxland, an early Australian explorer. Mr, G. I). Blaxland, of Sydney, arrived from Kngland yesterday by the Rangitata. Mr? Blaxland has never previously been ill New Zealand, in spite of bis family's carlv association with the country. Oil his way back to Sydney after a business trip abroad, Mr. Blaxland intends spending a few days in the nonunion. He left yesterday afternoon for Kotorua, and will sail for Sydney by the Awatea next week.
