Cavanagh (Tauranga) and T. .Veil (Cambridge), all broke •Jo birds each and divided the prize money. No. '2 jfc'Jo Handicap. - JL birds.—J. Dobson (Hamilton), E. Tliomasen (Waitakaruru) and W. Rao (Tnuranga) tied with the possible of 'JI birds each and divided the prize money. Trophy Siioot., 10 birds.—A. J. Brown (Rotorua), F„ Knight (JlotoruiO, T. JCllint». (Keropeehi) and W. Hoc (Tauranga) all broke the possible of to birds. An exciting shoot-off for the trophy then took place. W. Hae eliminated the other competitors at the J Oth bird. Box Shoot, seven birds.—Good entries were received. Shooters were required to sit on a box and shoot from tlio :U)-yard mark. The fast-flying clay target was actually shot at about 70yds and this called for expert marksmanship. The winner was L. Maher (Putaruru), who broke six birds.
