"Measles are still fairly prevalent in and about Whangarei," remarked Dr. Gilberd, "but there is nothing of a serious nature.

WELLINGTON CASES HUTT VALLEY INCREASE [BV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] WELLINGTON, Sunday "Although the measles epidemic appears to be easing off in most parts of Wellington, it is increasing in the Hutt Valley," said Dr. F. S. McLean, medical officer of health at Wellington, to-night. "There is every likelihood of the disease remaining prevalent for another month or two." Evidence of the severity of the outbreak is shown by the fact that since midnight on Friday, twelve persons, including two adults have been taken to hospital suffering from pneumonia or other measles complications. Six of that number were taken to-day.
