YACHTING
SAILING DINGHY CONTEST The Iloyal Akarana Yacht Club hold a raco for sailing dinghies on Saturday after noon starting and finishing off the clubhouse. Thero was a very light northerly breeze and. as the course took a long time to completo, only ono round was sailed. Tho raco started at 3 p.m. The finishing times were:—Swan (scr), -111 'J5m; Soram fscr) th 27m -455; Pet (Ini), <ih iiOm oss; AVeona (sm), <lh 31m 10s. The result on corrected times was:—Swan 1 (S. Kean), 1; Sorara, 2;, Pet, 3. I Mr. T. McKnight was in charge of tho race.
