PRESERVATION OF VALLEYS (Received July 12, f>.s p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY. July 11 The preservation of the valleys in the Lakes District, which iucludo Crummock Water and Lowes Water, has been carried a stage further by the purchase, subject to restrictive covenants with the National Trust, of a property which includes some of the most beautiful meadows on the shores of Crummock Water.
