JUNIOR MANAGEMENT PROPOSED VISIT TO THAMES OFFICIALS FOR SATURDAY A decision to communicate with the Thames Union asking it to name a suitable date for a third grade representative team to visit Thames was made at last evening's meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union. Permission to travel to country centres was granted to the following teams: —Grammar thirds, to Thames, next Saturday; Grammar intermediates, to Whangarei, August 0; Waitemata juniors and fourths, to Thames, August 27; Newton fifths, lo Thames or Hamilton, date to be fixed. The following transfers were approved:— E. Marlon. Ponsonby to North Shore; L. Watson, Grafton to Manukau; S. N. Frater, Grammar to Takapuna. The following ground officials were appointed for Saturday:—Gribble-Hirst Park, Mr. R. Humphries; Show Grounds, Mr. S. Lee; Victoria Park, Mr. R. Belcher; Western Springs, Mr. V.
