CRUISE TO ISLANDS

ITINERARY OF MAUNGANUI The itinerary of the Union Company's cruise ship Maunganui, which left Auckland on Thursday for Pacific Islands, has been altered to provide a call at Raiatea, in the Society Group, instead of Bora Bora, in order to be present at celebrations commemorating the anniversary of the taking of the Bastille during the French Revolution. Raiatea is only 20 or 30 miles from Bora Bora, and is a beautiful volcanic island surrounded by coral reefs. Wireless messages received from the Maunganui report that fine weather has prevailed since her departure from Auckland.
