MEDICAL APPOINTMENT
WHANGAREI HOSPITAL POST [BY TELEGRAPH OWN" correspondent] WHAJS'GAREI, Tuesday The position of assistant-medical superintendent of the Whangarei Hospital has been filled bv the appointment of Dr. D. C. L. Clay, of the Waipukurau Hospital. The post was formerly occupied by Dr. Gertrude Galliers, who resigned in May. Dr. Clay will take up his new duties about August 10. * TARANAKI POSITION GREYMOUTH DOCTOR CHOSEN. [bv telegraph—PßESS association] GREYMOUTH, Tuesday The Grey Hospital Board to-night accepted the resignation, to take effect on October 5. of Dr. H. C. Barrett, medical superintendent for the last three years, who is to take up a position as surgeon to the Taranaki Hospital Hoard, New Plymouth.
