THREE YOUNG CHILDREN PARENTS ABSENT AUSTRALIAN TRAGEDY RESCUE IMPOSSIBLE By Telegraph—rress Association —Copyright (Received .Tuly 10, 1-1.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 10 During the absence of their parents at a neighbour's home, three children—Shirley Croke, aged nine ; Winifred Croke, aged seven; and David Croke, aged five—were burned to death in a wooden hut 19 miles from Camden last night.
t The parents and two elder daughters wore playing cards at a neighhour's when the lire occurred, and wero unable to rescue the children owing to the flames having too great a hold.
