SUNSHINE ASSOCIATION
MOUNT ALBERT BRANCH WORK PROFITABLE RESULTS REPORTED The report of the year's work submitted to the members of the Alount Albert branch of the Community Sunshine Association at the annual meeting yesterday reviewed a period of much activity, bringing successful results. A credit balance of £"(38 was shown. This represented an increase of 50 per cent on the previous 12 months, and £OS had been sent to headquarters. A jumble sale, the sale of health stamps, the annual street collection, individual collection boxes, a dance and bridge evening, and musical afternoons combined to make the year profitable. The president of the Community Sunshine Association, Airs B. J. AlcKcndrick, presided, and expressed satisfaction at the result of the year's work. Bouquets were presented to Airs. W. H. Worrall, Airs. J. P. Lane and Airs. G. A. Pearson in appreciation of their services.
The following officers were elected:— President, Airs. L. C. H. Dawson; vice presidents, Mrs. W. H. Worrall, Mrs F. Afcßride, Mrs. T. Woodhead; trea surer, Airs. J. P. Lane; secretary Alr.s. G. A. Pearson; auditor, Airs. H A. Anderson.
After the meeting the members were the guests of Mrs. Worrall for afternoon tea, when Mrs. Harold King sang several Maori songs, accompanied by Mrs. W. 0. Cook. Among those present were: —Mrs. L. C.
