TIN SHARES FIRM OTHER BASE METALS EASIER The advance in leading base metal shares was checked on tlie Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, and from the previous day's levels Mount L,yells showed a loss of Is and North Broken Hills ;i loss of 4s -3d. Tin shares resisted tlie downward change and both Waihi Investments and Rawang made better prices than the last dealings a few days ago. Gold shares were firm. Closing quotations were:—
