Hart to travel to Australia after injuring his arm just beforo tho team sailed. Mr. J. Sweeney said the idea of a fund to send Dick to Australia was an excellent one, and the union should give it support. Dick certainly deserved the trip. Mr. L. Colgan said he thought the idea would be supported by every footballer in Auckland. The chairman, Mr. A. Baker, suggested that the New Zealand Union be communicated with, advising that the union proposed to sponsor a private fund to send Dick to Australia to join the team, and to intimato that, if this were, done, he would be available to participate in the matches if required.
