Otago won the men's competition, with the result iliat both trophies "ill bo held here.
The Xew Zealand Universities' women's !e;iin played tho Olago provincial team in the afternoon, the gumo resulting in a draw, with a score of 1-nll. Tim match was decided on a wet ground and tho display was disappointing on the part of the Universities' team after its excellent play during the, tournament. The results of tho final two rounds of men's games were as follows: — Fourth Round.—Otago A, 1, Auckland, 0; Masse.v, I, Canterbury, 3; Otago B, U, Victoria, 2. Fifth Round. —Auckland, 0, Massey, 0; Otago A, 0, Otago B, 1; Victoria, 2, Canterbury, 2. The points gained during the tournament were as follows: —Otago A, 10; Auckland, 7; Victoria, 1; Massey, -1; Canterbury, 3; Otago B, 2.
