CHINESE RESISTANCE ANNIVERSARY OBSERVANCE [by TELEGRArn —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday To-morrow, being tho first anniversary of the Chineso war of, resistance against Japanese aggression, will bo solemnly observed by Chineso in New Zealand and throughout tho world. There will be three minutes' silenco at noon as a mark of respect for tho fallen, both soldiers and civilians, also a partial fast will bo observed. Money thus saved will bo used to purchase gifts for soldiers at the front.
