COAL INDUSTRY
ANGLO-FRENCH DISCUSSION British Wireless JULY 5 It was revealed in the House of Commons to-day that discussions between the Mines Department of tho Board of Trade, assisted by representatives of tho coal interests concerned on one side, and interested French Government Departments and coal interests on tho other, took place in Paris on June 27, 28, and 29. There was a full examination of tho problem of the United Kingdom coal trade, and a frank exchange of views, Tho discussions were adjourned to enable the Governments to study suggestions put forward, and will be resumed shortly.
