OFFICERS ELECTED THREE ANNUAL MEETINGS y PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES The annual meeting of the Ellerslie Croquet Club was hold recently. Mrs. A. J. Laird presided. The following officers were elected : President, Mrs. Richmond; vicepresidents, Mrs. Kerns and Mrs. Patterson; secretary, Mrs. A. J. Laird; treasurer, Mrs. C. Chapman; match committee, Mrs. Gollan, Mrs. Christmas and Mrs. Poulton; delegates to the Auckland association, Mrs. Richmond and Mrs. Laird. Mrs. Laird presented the trophies to the following successful players:—A and B doubles, Mrs. Gollan and Mrs. Leske; 33 singles, Mrs. Hunter; JJ junior, Airs. Bregman; progressive," Mrs. Christinas, Mrs. Kerns and Mrs. Proctor. I Afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the committee.
HAL LYBURTON-.J OHNSTONE The Hullyburton-Jolmstono Croquet Club held its annual meeting recently. The president, Mrs. F. Breckon, presided. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mrs. F. Rose; vicepatrons, Mesdames Bennett, Callander, Burgess, Dunninghani, Oliver, Clark, Griffith and Mr. Sneddon; president, Mrs. f IV Sneddon; vice-presidents, Mrs. F. Breckon, Mrs. G. Holdsworth; secretary, Mrs. W. Hutchinson; treasurer, Mrs. F. Jackson; committee, Mesdames T. Walters, W. Phillips, F. Dyson and Glover; match committee, Mesdames T. Walters, W. Hutchinson, G. Holdsworth; delegates to the association, Mesdames F. Breckon and W. Hutchinson; delegates to tho Western Suburbs, Mesdames T. Sneddon and W. Hutchinson; delegate to tho trustees, Mrs. F, Breckon; delegates to the management committee, Mesdames F. Breckon, T. Walters, Seed and Glover: green superintendent, Mrs. F. Breckon; auditor, Mr. S. Crookbain; club referee and coach, Mrs. F. Breckon.
HO WICK CLUB The annual meeting of the Howick Croquet Club was held recently. Officers were elected as follows: —Patroness, Mrs. F. E. Allen; president, Mrs. W. Amiss; vice-presidents, Mesdames Wambrook, Roberts and Miss Nixon; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. P. Foy; match committee, Mesdames Frost, Sutherland and Miss Hickman; management committee, Mesdames Alexander, Foy, Leddingham. Roberts, Selwood, Sutherland, and Misses Nixon and Smith; delegates to the Auckland Croquet Association, Mrs. Wyatt and Miss Wann; tea convener, Mrs. Selwood; auditor, Mrs. Boves.
MANUREWA CLUB The election of officers at the annual meeting of the Manurewa Croquet Club resulted as follows: —President, Mrs. Coxhead; vice-presidents, Mesdames Gallaher and Finlay; treasurer, Mrs. Brown; secretary, Mrs. Rutledge; match committee, Mesdames Gallaher, Graham and Forbes. MONT LE GRAND CLUB The election of officers was held at a meeting of the Mont lo Grand Croquet Club and was as follows: —Patron, Mrs. It. J. Mills; president, Mrs. E. Sessions; vice-president, Mrs. R. Black; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. W. C. Thomson; committee (4), Mrs. \\. J. Scott, Mrs. A. Bardell, Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Hemming; social committee, Mrs. Hinklev, Mrs. Smerdon, Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Over bye, Mrs. Flemming, Mrs. Thomson, Mrs. Bardell; match committee, Miss Bardell, Mrs. Fleming, Mrs. Thomson; delegates to Auckland_ Croquet Association, Mrs. Sessions, Mrs. Thomson; hon. auditor, Mr. A. E. Layland.
WHANGAREI CLUB Officers elected at tho annual meeting of the Whangarei Croquet Club recently were: —President, Mrs. T. H. Wilson; vice-president, Mrs. J. Walker; secretary, Mrs. J. A. Finlayson; treasurer, Mrs. Hedditch; ground superintendents, Mesdames Morrison and Smith; club captain, Mrs. R. Marshall; committee, Mesdames Marshall, McPhee, Woodman, G. Harrison, Webber, Smith and llumbal. On behalf of members, Mrs. Woodman made a presentation to Mrs. Morrison in recognition of her services as ground superintendent for the past four years.
