HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES Miss Jean Lemon, who has been district dental nurse at Whangarei for the past five years, has been transferred to Ashburton, and leaves this week to take up her new appointment.. Prior to her departure Miss Lemon received presentations from the pupils of tho Whangarei school and also the teachers. Mrs. 1). Cairns, of Ohura, has rereturned home after an extended visit to her mother, Mrs. Ross, of Hikurangi. Miss Ksme Armstrong has returned to licr home at Ohura after spending a holiday with friends at Hikurangi. Miss Monica Faire, who has been the piiest of Mrs. I). O'Donoghue, of Mill Road, has returned to Auckland. Mrs. I). J. Goodwin, of Bank Street, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Aslnvin and Miss Ida Asliwin, of Auckland, arc the guests of Mrs. B. Fagan, of Grey Street. Miss Alison Ew'nn. of Martin, is the guest of Airs. P. >l. Bourke, of Maunu. Airs. T. S. V, Sloane, of Hauika Road, is spending a holiday at Matapoki. Mrs. F. Hone has returned to her home at Huntlv after a round of visits to friends in Whangarei. Misses Gladys and Zola Kecne, _of Norfolk Street, arc on a short visit to Auckland
