MARAMARUA HUNT

PUKEKAWA WARD MEET The third meet of the Pukekawa ward of the Maramarua Hunt, held on Wednesday, was not quite as spectacular as usual owing to hares being so numerous that hounds split up too much. The first run, starting in' Mr. L. Lindberg's property, gave followers a short run into Mr. N. Logan's, when hounds were whipped off. Another run started in Mr. Logan's and, after crossing through Mr. O. Lindberg's, hounds were again whipped off. Among the followers were:—Messrs. S. Syines, huntsman, on Larry; L. Cathcart, field master, on Snow King; W. Bilkey, whip, on Chance; H. Passau, whip, on Semi; J. McNaughton, on St.. Musk; L. Picot, on Publicity; H. Atchison, on Audrey; H. Leigh, on Rufus; K. Atchison, on Surprise; A. Mcintosh, on Tip; O. Lindberg, on Mountain Bruce; J. Walter, on Mascot; R. Coles, on Kitty; R. Wrigley, on Rupert; W. Swanson, on Royal Flarno; C. Rowe, on Creamy; R. Townsend, on Golden Wave; S. Cronin, on Don; B. Andrews, on Phar Lap; Miss Biikey, on Bonny Lu.
