CLOCK STOLEN TWICE How a stolen clock was stolen from tlio thief in full view of a polico eonstable was described in a case at Glasgow Central Police Court. John Connor, aged '2O, admitted stealing the clock from a shop in Saltmarket. Connor, it was stated, was seen leaving the premises with something bulky in his pocket. He was followed by a girl assistant to Greendyke Street, where she informed a police constable. Connor told the officer ho had left the clock on a wall in a backyard.
