MAN SEVERELY BURNED SPARK FROM CIGARETTE CLOTHES ALIGHT IN STREET [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Friday Severe burns to the body, arms and legs and shock were suffered by a factory hand, Mr. C. McDonald, Mapuia Road, Miramar, when his clothes caught fire in Park Road, Miramar, at about noon to-day. Mr. McDonald had been working in an explosives factory in Park Road and his clothes had become covered in chlorate of potash. Later he went on to the street/ where a spark from a cigarette ignited his clothing. A free ambulance took him to hospital.
