June 15 The Austrnlinn explorer, Sir Hubert Wilkins, who Ims arrived here from Moscow, says ho is convinced that the Russian airmail Levanevsky and his five companions, who disappeared on their flight across the Arctic last August, are alive. Pie believes they are at present journeying over the ice toward Canadian islands. Having arrived at the islands, they would be unable then to communicate with civilisation, he said, and must continue to the south and try to reach the American radio station in Alaska, or be noticed by a ship. It was unlikely that they Would communicate with the world before October.

Sir Hubert said he -believed that the men would be able to sustain themselves on Polar bears and other animals.
