ARMS LIMITATION
_ BRITISH CO-OPERATION OPPORTUNITY AWAITED (Received June 23, G.r, p.m.) British Wireless / RUGBY, June 22 The Prime Minister. Mr. Chamberlain, referred in the House of Commons to the recent statement of Mr. Cordell Hull that the United States was prepared to join other nations in moving resolutely toward bringing about an effective agreement on the limitation and progressive reduction of armaments. "As I have already stated," Mr. Chamberlain said, "Britain is in full agreement with these sentiments, and "\vill neglect no suitable opportunity of co-operating ' with the United States and other Governments to attain these objects." In reply to a supplementary question, Mr. Chamberlain remarked: "Jf any invitation is addressed to us by the United States we shall certainly respond to it."
