SOCCER GAME

CHATHAM CUP EEPLAT THISTLE AND PONSONBY CHAMPIONSHIP CONTESTS Keen, interest will centre in the replay ot the local Chatham Cup final between , Ponsonby and Thistle, which will be the principal fixture on the Auckland Football Association's programme for to-morrow. In a hardfought contest last week the teams drew after extra time had been played, the match proving one of the best attractions staged at Blandford Park this season. Ponsonby, although well below form in its championship games this season, made a splendid showing against the strong Thistle opposition and at one period of the game appeared to have the honours within its grasp. Enthusiasts will hope that it can repeat its performance to-morrow. Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys and Eastern Suburbs should have a hard-fousrht championship gamo at St. Heliers, whjle North Shore should win comfortably in its game with Onehunga fit Devonport. There should be little between Comrades and Abels at Victoria Park. Metro-College will meet Y.M.C.A. at the Domain. . Lower., grade competitions will be continued.
