PUKEKOHE QUOTATIONS [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Thursday 1 Exceptionally heavy yardings in all classes came forward at the salo conducted by Alfred Buckland and Sons, Limited, at Pukekohe. An entry of 250 dairy cattle was received. Good quality cows and heifers close to profit wero in keen demand, and prices reallsod were on a par with recent quotations. Backward and inferior sorts wore not wanted and were hard to dispose of. Beef and boner cattle came forward in extra heavy numbers. The demand was slacker, and prices suffered in conseQucncc. No extra heavy prime cattle were offered. The highest price received was £l2 10s for a choice steer from Mr. F. Hyde, Tuakau.
