The Union Company's steamer Kaimircf; discharging cargo from Greymouth at Queen s Wharf, will move to Chelsea before sailing to-morrow night for Portland. After waiting to cross the Manukau Bar since Monday afternoon, the motor-vessel Hokianga, bound for Hokianga from Onehunga, returned to Onehunga yesterday afternoon, the bar being unworkable. To continue discharging Australian cargo the Union Company's steamer Omana arrived yesterday morning from New Plymouth and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She is expected to sail to-night for Portland and Wellington. After receiving overhaul at Auckland the Northern Company's motor-vessel Hauturu will leave this afternoon for Hokianga and Onehunga before resuming in the service from OncLunga to New Plymouth and Wanganui. THISTLEGHATH FROM JAVA The British steamer Thistlegrath, of 4750 tons gross, has been chartered to load sugar at Java for Auckland. HORORATA TO LOAD A wireless message from the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hororata, en route from Liverpool in ballast, reports that she expects to reach Bluff on luesday to begin homeward loading. THE LINER AKAROA Tho Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa, at Prince's Wharf, is now expected to sail for Wellington at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon to complete discharge of cargo from London. PORT HARDY DELAYED The departure for Wellington of the .Port Line steamer Port Hardy, which is discharging cargo from West Coast ports of Britain at Prince's Wharf, has been postponed until to-day. NORAVIND REPORTS Wireless advice from the Norwegian tanker Noravind, en route from Singapore, reports that she expects to reach Auckland on Friday morning. She will dischargo at Western Wharf to the Shell Company. WEIRBANK DISCHARGING The Bank Line motor-ship Weirbank, from Nauru Island, berthed yesterday morning at King's Wharf to discharge phosphate. She is expected to sail on her return at the end of the week. THE SHANGHAI MAEU Cabled advice has been received that the Yamashita Kisen Kaisha steamer Shanghai Maru left Miike on June 15 for Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Dunedin and Lyttelton. She is coming via Noumea and Waipole island and is due here about July 5. FIONA TO-MORROW The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Fiona has reported that- she will reach Auckland from Suva at six o'clock to-morrow morning. The Fiona will discharge at Chelsea and later sail on her return to Suva to load in the Islands for Sydney. The radius of the new cranes will be 80ft., or about 20ft. greater than most of the cranes in use at the docks.
