STANCROFT'S CARGO
NO CASE AGAINST CAPTAIN ALLEGED CONTRABAND (Received June 17, 11.30 p.m.) GIBRALTAR, Juno 17 Justices decided that a prima facie case had not been made against Captain Scott, master of the British steamer Stancroft, who was detained at Gibraltar on May 25 on a charge of carrying prohibited articles to Spain. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. The prosecution alleged that prohibited articles found on the Stancroft included of empty shells and nine aircraft engines.
