PROPOSAL FOR NORTH HOBSON SOCIETY'S SUPPORT [by telegraph—own correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Friday A meeting; of ward delegates of the Hobson Acclimatisation Society elected Messrs. J. Elliott, F. Izzard and S. P. Day delegates to the conference of North Auckland acclimatisation societies to be held at Kaitaia 011 July 2.3. They were instructed to ask the North Auckland conference to support the proposal that the Government should establish a game farm for North Auckland. Messrs. >S. P. Day, F. Izzard and L. W. Reid were appointed a subcommittee to co-operate with the Whangarei Acclimatisation Society for the acquisition of trout, fry from the Whangarei hatchery. The sum of £25 was placed at the sub-committee's disposal for the purchase of trout fry for this year. Mr. J. E. Elliott was elected chairman of the society.
