TUG SINKS IN THAMES
COLLISION AT GRAVESEND FOUR OF CREW MISSING LONDON, June 9 While about fo tow the inwardbound Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa into Gravesend, a tug collided with the outward-bound Port Line steamer Port Nicholson, the tug sinking. Four of the crew were picked up, but four who are still missing are believed to have been drowned. The tug was a vessel of 182 tons, belonging to the Gamecock Steam Towing Company/' Limited, of London. The Port Nicholson is a twin-screw steamer of 8402 tons.
