Little Rain
The little rain put on its shoes. And danced about a little tree. It peeped into each small green room With silver curiosity I It gaily slid off its green roof And tumbled very lightly down Upon its Utile shining feet, Just like a l' ttle s^oer c ' oWn - And all the time it danced about It crooned a tiny silver song, Comfwed of tinkling little notes That sounded like a fairy s gong. It really had a lovely time, Dancing about the little tree. In its tiny silver shoes, The little rain enchanted me. —lvy Gibbs.
