MUSEUM MYSTERY
DEATH OF A PROFESSOR
Ono of the best mystery stories of the year is undoubtedly "Murder in the Museum," by Mr. Jtflm Rowland. Professor Artioll while in the museum is overheard sleeping very heavily and dies immediately as tho result of poisoning. Inspector Shelley sums up the matter by saying: "I'm sure that Professor Arnell was fond of nlmouds that some person nt present unknown was aware of his little weakness and that ho was given a good hefty dose of.cyanide in an almond. There's the crime in a nutshell."
It took the inspector some time to solve his problem, but tho remarkable series of letters which form the climax to the book give tha solution in convincing style. This is a first-rate story.
