It is with great pleasure that I make the announcement, to Skating Patrons that the Glide Skating Rink has been ch6sen as the venue of the 1938 N.Z:' Skating Championships, to be conducted under the auspices of the N.Z. Roller Skating Association. The championships will take place towards the end of August and will be open to any amateur skater. Entries have been received from as far south as Dunedin. I have also managed to obtain for this rink EXCLUSIVELY N.Z.'s Champion Lady Skater, Miss Jean Hahn, who will be giving an exhibition Next Wednesday Night, June 15. She is at present returning on the Niagara from Sydney, where she represented N.Z. with outstanding success at the Australian Centenary Roller Skating Championships.
