LARGE CANE FIRE
AREA IN JAMAICA British Wireless RUGBY, June 8 The Colonial Office has* received a telegram from Mr. B. C. Woolley, officer administering the Government of Jamaica, stating that a large cane fire was reported in the Orange Valley, Trelawny, and there was a small disturbance in the parish. In the Port Nurant area eight arrests wore made for intimidation. Full protective measures are being maintained.
