NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES OF MONTH Tho report of the nurse, Miss J. Bursell, at the monthly meeting of the Northcote Plunkct Committee, showed that she had made visits to 16 homes during May, these including five newcases, while 132 visits had been made to tho Northcote room.
Tho voluntary drivers were Mrs. A. L. Elliott, Mrs. F. J. Maxwell, Mrs. A. Sterling, Mrs. F. C. Williams and Miss I.sobol Crowe. Tlio redecoration of tho Northcote Plunket room had been completed. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, stated that there were now 27 new annual subscribers at Northcote, as the outcome of tho campaign for further members. Sho thanked all who had assisted at the annual ball, which was very successful, and resulted in a substantial addition to the funds. A letter was read from the chairman of the Auckland Advisory Board. Mr. J. H. Frater, congratulating the Northcote committee ou tho splendid organisation of tho ball. Messrs. W. and T. McFetrirlge were thanked for a donation of £1 toward tho funds.
Tho gift of a photogravure, "The Mother," by Sir John Lavery, was made by Miss Isabel Campbell, a member of tho Truby King Junior League.
