LEAGUE OF HELPERS
Members of the Castor Bay Women's League of Helpers met in the church hall on Tuesday afternoon, the president, Mrs. Morgan Bichards, welcoming a number of overseas visitors as well as members.
A demonstration of tho making of a padded stool for a sitting room was given by Mrs. Grace, while Mrs. Rose demonstrated tho making of an invalid's bed. Reports from the needlework and arts and crafts circles were received, and songs were sung by Mrs. Sills anil Mrs. Sims.
