ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING
CROQUET CLUB FUNCTION
The annual prize-giving of the Hally-burton-Johnstone Croquet Club was held recently in the club's pavilion. The president, Mrs. F. Breckon, presided, and welcomed visitors and members. During the afternoon, cards were played, and prizes were presented to the winners at the conclusion of afternoon tea.
The patron of the club, Mrs. Clarke, presented trophies to the following:— Club championship singles, Mrs. R. Boag; runner-up, Mrs. Jackson; A championship doubles, Mrs. Breckon and Mrs. Ramsey; A and B handicap doubles, Mrs. Storey and Mr. Swinburne; runners-up, Mrs. Sneddon and Mr. Ramsey; B championship singles, Mrs. Dawson; runner-up, Mrs. Swinburne.
