OLD THAMES GIRLS
SOCIAL AFTERNOON
The monthly meeting of tho Old Thames Girls Association was held yesterday at' the Pitt Street Methodist Church. The president, Mrs. A. Oldham, assisted by the secretary, Mrs. E. McMikon, presided. The programme for the afternoon had been arranged by Mrs. A. L. Lewis. Songs were sung by Mrs. A. H. Osborne and Mrs. G. R. Henderson, the accompanist being Mrs. N. Walker. A humorous, reading was given by Mrs. V. Bosworth, and Mrs. J. Pool gave elocutionary items, At the conclusion of the programme, afternoon tea was served by Mrs. M. Dawson, assisted by the members of the committee.
