SUNSHINE ASSOCIATION
MOTHERS' CLUB MEETING The annual meeting of the Mothers' Club of the Community Sunshine Association was held at Sunshine House recently. A letter was received from the president, Sir George Richardson, and members of the board, conveying their appreciation to the mothers of the work done by them for the association during the year. Mrs. Taylor was thanked for her assistance with the girls' evening classes, and the chairwoman, Mrs. E. S. Winks, thanked the mothers for their donation of £2 toward the children's dinners. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Chairwoman, Mrs. E. S. Winks; vice-chairwoman, Mrs. D. Whitford; convener for play-reading, Mrs. Lavis; sewing convener, Mrs. Taylor; afternoon tea conveners, Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Whitford; committee, Mrs. J. Shaw, Mrs. Gwilliam, Mrs. Downey and Mrs. Karlson.
