SMITH'S TRIUMPH STABLE FILLS ALL PLACES CROCUS BEATS IRONSIDE .The concluding day of the Auckland Trotting Club's Winter Meeting at Epsom yesterday was marked by an unusual event in the history of tho sport, when the Takanini trainer F. J. Smith, with his triple bracket, scooped tho pool in the chief event. ; The track was soft. The attendance was 6000, and the totalisator put through £25,713 10s, against £20,219, an increase of £5494 10s. For the meeting the total was £59,102, compared with £53,340, the increase being £5762. Details:—
