INTEREST IN FOOTBALL
PRESENTATION TO ADMIRAL A presentation of two Maori canoe paddles, inlaid with New Zealand woods and suitably inscribed, was mads to Rear-Admiral the Hon. E. R. Drummond by Mr. L. Munro, chairman of the control board of the Auckland Football Association, on behalf of Auckland Association football enthusiasts, at the Naval Base yesterday. In replying, Rear-Admiral Drummona said it had given him pleasure to co-operate with the association. He officially handed over the trophy recently don? ated by him for competition between the Naval and Auckland representative teams.
