CANBERRA STATEMENT NO STARTING DATE FIXED NEW ZEALAND COMPLAINTS FLYING-BOATS BUILDING By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received June 8, 11.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, June 8 Replying to a question in the House of Representatives relating to the New Zealand complaint of the delay in starting the Tasman air service, the Minister of Defence, Mr. H. V. Thorby, said there was no question of delay, because no time had been fixed for starting the service. Mr. Thorby added that the necessary flying-boats were under construction, but there was no company at present prepared to run the sen-ice.
